O ex-premier italiano Silvio Berlusconi é o candidato favorito da centro-direita nas primárias, com 46% da preferência, dez pontos percentuais à frente do secretário do Partido Povo da Liberdade (PDL), Angelino Alfano, segundo aponta levantamento realizado pelo Instituto SWG.    A pesquisa também revela que na ausência de Berlusconi as intenções de voto direcionadas ao secretário do PDL subiriam para 65%.   

De acordo com o levantamento, a líder do Movimento pela Itália, Daniela Santanchè, aparece com 6% dos votos dos entrevistados e o ministro da Defesa, Ignazio La Russa, com 2%.   

O Instituto SWG entrevistou 1,4 mil pessoas entre 27 e 28 de junho e a margem de erro da pesquisa é de 2,6% para mais ou para menos.
